Account Information
Name, email address, business name, phone number, and business location provided at signup.
Business Data You Enter
Product catalogs, inventory levels, purchase and sale prices, customer profiles, transaction history, and settings you add while using the dashboard. This data belongs to you.
Customer Data on Your Storefront
When your customers place orders on your Selkro storefront, we process their name, delivery address, contact details, and order contents to fulfill those orders.
Usage Information
IP address, browser type, pages visited, and feature usage to keep the Service secure and improve it.
Payment Information
Billing details are collected and processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
3. How Your Data Works in Selkro
Stores & Sync
Your POS sales, inventory, and storefront share one dataset. A sale at the counter updates stock and your online store instantly. Data syncs in real time across your devices.
Tenant Isolation
Every shop's data is stored in an isolated workspace. One shop can never view another shop's products, customers, or sales.
Integrations
When you connect a payment gateway, courier, or marketplace, we share only the data required for that action. These services have their own privacy policies.
Aggregated Data
We use anonymized, aggregated usage data that cannot identify you or your customers to improve the platform. Your individual business data is never sold or used for advertising.

Encryption in Transit & at Rest
All traffic to and from the Service is encrypted (TLS). Your stored data is encrypted at rest on secure cloud servers.

Passwords are hashed with industry-standard algorithms and never stored in plain text. Staff access is role-based: you decide who can view transactions, edit inventory, or manage the store.
Backups
Data is backed up regularly so it can be recovered from hardware failure. Backups are kept on isolated storage.

If a data breach affects your information, we will notify you as soon as practical and outline steps to protect your business.
No internet-based system is 100% secure. You share responsibility by using strong, unique passwords and limiting staff access.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion:
- Your workspace and its data are permanently removed within 30 days
- Your online storefront is taken offline
- Backups containing your data are deleted according to our retention cycle
- We may keep records required by law (e.g., tax or billing records)

- Delete your workspace and associated data
- Revoke integration access at any time
- Opt out of non-essential communications
9. Cookies & Local Storage
We use cookies and local browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as language and theme), and understand how the platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Shopping on your Selkro storefront also requires basic storage to manage the cart.
